Bicycle Tour (Half day)
Half day cycling tour in Chiangmai (Country side)
This Chiang Mai half-day ride takes you on a memorable tour of the countryside most interesting sights. Go beyond the city to see local Buddhist temples, local markets and organic farms rice paddy fields etc. (tropical fruits depend on season) Most visitors will never get to see these hidden angles, well off the beaten track. See Chiang Mai differently - meet and greet locals’ people interactive, stop when you want for photos, and get a sense of the local between the highlights of our tour.
Top Line Itinerary:
• 07:30 – 8.00 pick up from Chiang Mai hotel by Songthew (local pickup truck) wherever your travelers are and transfer to Saraphi area ( about 20 min drive from downtown)
• 08:30 – Bicycle try size check all safety system and helmet ( We do have mtb or comfort bike more choice for our clients) then start the tour.
Highlights:
• About 3 hrs. cycling including stop and take a break for photo and meet local people approximate about 10-13 km. all condition flat cycling easy and relax to enjoy to see nature along main river of Chiangmai (Mae Ping River)
Tour Include:
• vegetable farms and rice paddy fields
• local house Lanna style
• Local Buddhist temple
• local crematorium
• Lunch at local restaurant drinking water will be provide on trip (Khoa soi egg noodle yellow curry soup. Chiangmai food) Veggie on request

• Comfortable wear sun cream ,rain coat (Jul.-oct), hat, camera etc.

Has to be one of the best bike tours I've ever been on. AJ was excellent and very personable and put a local and personal perspective on Chiang Mai. We booked this as an optional tour with G Adventures and we were glad we did. AJ takes you through the countryside and visits with many interesting locals and hits some off the beaten path highlights. Ended with a lunch at a local roadside eatery with dessert served up further down the road at another roadside stand. Everybody knows AJ and he loves to share his local knowledge. Very easy bike trip that practically anyone can participate in. Highly recommended!

Absolutely great tour in Chiang Mai! If you want to see rural Thai culture you have gone to the right place!
AJ is a super guide and very knowledgable, he has extensive experience in tour guiding which was obvious by the high quality of the trip. The cycle itself was very leisurely and not too challenging- definitely for all abilities! The bikes were fitted to each of our heights and helmets provided. We had the opportunity to sample local food, go to a traditional teak house and he explained how and why locals pursue a rural lifestyle.
I have done similar bike tours in asia and this was the best by far! Many thanks!
